Job Description : Aviation Architect

Overview of the Position : ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking an Aviation Architect to provide supportive services for our government client. This position is on-site.

The ECOMPEX career position supports the following :

• Analyze and interpret building space and aviation facility functional requirements and criteria related to funding authorizations in the Military Construction (MILCON).
• Provide subject matter expertise in design and construction criteria to define funding authorizations for aviation facility projects under the Military Construction (MILCON).
• Review state requests for funding of minor and major construction projects for aviation facilities.
• Perform timely reviews of design and construction documents for proposed projects, including construction cost estimates, construction contract change order requests, airport use agreements, real property lease agreements, and concept plans for new unit stationing, unit relocations, and requests for new Aviation Support Facilities.
• Perform timely reviews of environmental documentation for proposed aviation facility construction projects.
