My name is Bianca Kohandani with RemX Healthcare, and I’m recruiting for 3 Oncology RNs for Thompson Oncology Group on a Direct Hire basis with Covenant Health in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. I’ve included additional information about the opportunity below! Job Overview : Direct Hire Position Schedule : M - F - Hours : 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm or 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm Pay Rate : $32 - $42 / hr. Infusion Clinic Locations w / Openings : Knoxville, West Knoxville, Lenoir City, and Oak Ridge Minimum 1 year oncology experience required. Extensive experience in outpatient oncology infusion is preferred. ONS chemotherapy biotherapy certificate preferred. Licensure Requirement : Valid Tennessee RN license 100% employee / employer paid Medical Benefits! - effective first of month coincident with or following two months of continuous employment Position Summary : Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Position Accountabilities and Performance Criteria : Correlates patient history and support systems within hospital care / nursing home care. Assesses learning needs of patient and family. Develops and initiates plan of care, involving patient and family. Recommends interventions. Evaluates plan of care. Resolves problems regarding moderately complex issues without oversight or supervision. Demonstrates active participation in unit or facility activities. Demonstrates willingness to precept employees / students as directed. Reviews clinical performance of preceptee with unit leader or clinical instructor. Demonstrates competence in performing critical skills to include appropriate delivery of care according to the age-specific needs of the population served. Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
