Responsibilities and Duties
Provide nocturnist hospitalist coverage at designated hospital sitesManage med surg admissions, with acuity ranging from low to high depending on locationOperate independently at critical access sites with no staff support (3-4 admits / night at high acuity, 1-2 admits / night at low acuity)Collaborate with MD and APP support at higher volume trauma locations (10-12 admits / night)Utilize multiple EMR systems including Meditech, CPSI, Epic, and CernerEnsure high-quality patient care across varying levels of acuity and resource availabilityAdditional Information
Hospitalist experience requiredMust hold an active Illinois licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAbility to independently manage admissions and patient care overnight in both solo and team environmentsBenefits
