Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver crisis stabilization and support services to individuals in mental health emergencies.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation following organizational policies.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations effectively.
- Engage with clients positively, fostering a supportive environment.
- Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Communicate professionally with clients, healthcare teams, and external agencies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Preferred : Two or more years of professional experience in mental health services, crisis response, or related fields.Licenses and Certifications
Current BLS / CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by orientation end.Valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements if driving is necessary.Successful completion of background checks including KBI, DCF, child and adult abuse registries, and motor vehicle screenings.Skills and Abilities
Familiarity with community mental health services.Basic computer proficiency.Strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities.Effective communication skills.Physical Requirements
