Description :

Travel position available for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac ICU.

The unit has 16 beds and a staffing level of 60.

Day shift staff includes 1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 Patient Care Technician.

Night shift staff mirrors the day shift.

Patient ratios are 1 RN to 2 patients.

Type of equipment utilized includes cardiac monitors, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan systems.

Electronic medical records are managed through Meditech.

Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations is preferred.

Typical procedures performed include intubations and central line placements.

Candidates should have a collaborative and team-oriented personality.
