HJF is seeking a Physical Therapist I to provide professional skills coordinating and assisting with a study evaluating the efficacy of a novel, patient-centered treatment against standard physical therapy.

This position will be in support of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center at Brooke Army Medical Center, located on JBSA-Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing aspects of a research study including providing physical therapy, collecting patient data, storing data, and transferring to appropriate databases.
• Participate in training to perform the standard physical therapy intervention.
• Assist with recruitment, conduct patient treatment, and schedule follow-up evaluations for patients enrolled in the study.
• Maintains regulatory compliance.
• Allows research team to check treatment to ensure study fidelity.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.
