Associate Attorney

Kent & McBride, P.C. a Civil Defense litigation firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ seeks an energetic Litigation Associate for its ever-growing PIP practice.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct discovery, evaluate liability and damages, and prepare cases for binding arbitration.
• Attend arbitrations virtually.
• Draft arbitrations statements and applications for dismissal.
• Bench trials.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Work independently and in teams to complete projects.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Juris Doctor degree. Licensed to practice law in the State of NJ
• Ability to stay organized and meet rigid deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

• 1-3 years of General Litigation experience (Writing / Trials).
• Courtroom experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (i.e., active listening, negotiation, persuasion).
• Excellent analytical skills (i.e., critical thinking, problem solving, decision making).
• Well-developed written communication skills.
