Are you a skilled technician with a passion for automotive equipment? Join our dynamic team at Pump and Meter Service, Inc. as a Hoist Technician! We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional to install, maintain, and repair automotive lifts for our valued customers.

Responsibilities :

  • Install, inspect, and service a variety of automotive lifts (2-post, 4-post, scissor lifts, etc.) at customer locations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues with lifts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ALI / ANSI).
  • Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication about repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and parts inventory.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements :

  • 2+ years of experience in automotive lift installation, repair, or related mechanical work.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Certification in lift installation / repair (ALI or similar) is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
