ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Shipment (from factory to customer) :
- Manage outbound orders by confirming and approving orders daily for every part number based on each customer's consolidated ship date for 3PL warehouse. Create deliveries manually as needed.
- Review Customer Account Coordinators' urgent request and take appropriate action.
- Manage incoming shipments from origin to warehouse arrival.
- File claim with appropriate party (warehouse, forwarder, etc.) for any damaged or lost materials and follow up to ensure completion.
Full Allocation situation only :
Maintain / update allocation spreadsheet daily to determine available allocation for each customer and allocate based on a work instruction logic.Review order confirmations daily for full allocation materials based on each customer's available allocation quantity and consolidated shipping date for 3PL warehouse.Inform Material Planner Group regarding incoming material delays that will affect full allocation qty.Data / file :
Receive, review, and save forwarders' logs, internal invoices, and downloading and creating data used for Material PlanningCarrier Plate :
Manage carrier plate orders by processing customer orders and arranging delivery based on the due date and consolidation schedule and send shipping documents to customer.Create forecast data for the Accounting group and supplier.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.Knowledge of computer software, such as SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel and order entry software.
