• Assist in procuring departmental supplies in collaboration with the team lead.
• Perform a variety of specimen collections including venipuncture, capillary collections, and urine drug screens.
• Prepare specimens for outside lab referrals and manage related administrative tasks.
• Maintain specimen integrity by adhering to collection requirements.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills while interacting with patients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Utilize the laboratory computer system for documentation tasks including patient registration and order entry.
• Engage in other duties as assigned, such as inventory management, special projects, and cross-training opportunities.
• Complete performance evaluations and competency assessments in a timely manner.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

All Associates must comply with the CHRISTUS Health License, Certification, and Registration Verification Policy to obtain the necessary certifications within the designated timeframe.
