Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification for a high-volume cardiac catheterization team.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based Cath Lab environment
  • Daily departmental caseload averages 15 cases
  • Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • On-call required : 8 days every 4 weeks and 1 full weekend of 24-hour call from Friday to Monday every 3-5 weeks
  • Floating only within the Cath Lab unit as needed
  • Patient cases include structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), interventional radiology, neurovascular, cardiac, and EP studies
  • Utilizes Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo system, IVUS / IFR / FFR, OCT, Boston IVUS IFR / FFR, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave equipment
  • EPIC EMR strongly preferred though other electronic charting considered
  • Locals (within 75 miles) are not eligible
  • Pending state license accepted
  • Responsible for assisting with a range of cardiac, vascular, and EP procedures
  • Will complete orientation modules as part of onboarding; annual module completion required
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • RTO (time off) requests must be submitted up front and are restricted to 7 days
  • Not eligible for local travel if residing within 75 miles of the facility
  • Team support and in-house training available during orientation
  • All candidates must provide two professional references and a complete 7-year work history for consideration

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Experience with a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Proficiency with Philips and Boston imaging / equipment as listed preferred
  • Ability to take frequent call with timely (2-hour) callback
  • Ability to work day shifts and participate in weekend and holiday coverage
