About The Position We are seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a 52-week locum tenens assignment at a community hospital and surgery center in Connecticut. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and features a Friday through Monday call schedule. The assignment offers a diverse case mix in a medically supervised setting and utilizes the Epic EMR system. Job Details Location : Connecticut Facility Type : Community Hospital & Surgery Center Start Date : Jan 5, 2026 LOA : 52 weeks Provider Type Needed : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Schedule : Friday 4pm - Monday 7am; Friday call post-OR starting at 4pm, Monday call ends with first case at 7am Responsibilities and Duties Provide anesthesia care for a range of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, gastroenterology, robotic, obstetric, urology, and podiatry cases Deliver anesthesia services across 20 main campus ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 dedicated maternity suites, and 4 ambulatory surgery center suites Work within a medical supervision model Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes Document clinical care using the Epic electronic medical record system Participate in on-call responsibilities as outlined in the schedule Additional Information Must hold an active Connecticut license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Minimum 13-week contract commitment required Little to no trauma cases Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
