SITE SUPERVISOR

SUMMARY: The Leaguers, Incorporated is seeking Site Supervisors for its Head Start Program.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The site supervisor is responsible for the health and safety of children assigned to the center. Oversee the center's daily operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direction, guidance, and support to staff assigned to the site;
• Monitor child attendance;
• Organize and conduct parent meetings in collaboration with family services and education staff;
• Ensure parent participation activities;
• Comply with Head Start and Early Head Start regulations, performance, standards, and licensing requirements and all other applicable state, local and federal guidelines;
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting/submission of employee time sheet;
• Prepare and submit monthly reports;
• Conduct monthly fire drills, collect daily meal counts;
• Demonstrate familiarity with personnel policies, performance standard, work plan and objectives of Agency;
• Fulfill role as mandated reporter as stated in Child Abuse and Neglect Policy;
• Implement policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration/Accounting, Education Administration, or related field with a minimum 15 credits in Early Childhood Education;
• One (1) year of Teaching experience preferred;
• Teaching Certification preferred.
