$210 to $220 per hour

About The Position

About the Position

A low-census, low-acuity Hospitalist locum opportunity is available in Grundy, Virginia , starting November 2025 . This assignment offers a relaxed pace, pager-only night call, and a predictable 7 on / 7 off block schedule.

Position Snapshot

Location : Grundy, VA

Pay Rate : $220 / hour (malpractice included)

Schedule : 7 on / 7 off

Coverage :

Day : 7 AM – 7 PM onsite

Night : 7 PM – 7 AM pager call (rare call-backs)

Start Date : November 2025

Practice Details

Daily Census : ~9–10 patients

ICU : Typically 1–2 patients on service

Night Admissions : ~1 (handled via pager)

Procedures : None required

Preferred Skills : Intubations & central lines (not mandatory)

APP Coverage : None

EMR : MediTech

Compensation & Perks

Requirements

Board Certified – Required

Active Virginia medical license – Required

Available for 7 on / 7 off schedule – Required

ACLS / BLS – Current
