Job description

Job Title : Workday Integration / Studio Consultant

Job Type : Contract

Duration : 6 Months (Possible extension)

Location : Chicago, IL 60606

100% Remote role

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design integration solutions that meet those needs.
  • Update progress, detailing objectives, and any obstacles encountered on daily stand-up calls / status meetings.
  • Perform impact analysis based on project requirements.
  • Configure and test integrations between Workday and other systems or applications.
  • Develop custom integrations using Workday Studio and other tools.
  • Identify and evaluate security requirements for new / existing build.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical support to end-users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of integration solutions.
  • Learn and collaborate as necessary to build / resolve issues on Workday Extend, Orchestration solutions.
  • Participate in the development of best practices and standard operating procedures related to Workday integrations.

Skill Requirement :

  • Good hands-on development experience in Studio integrations and has strong Payroll integration experience.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in Workday implementations, Development.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM).
  • At least 2-3 years' experience with Workday Studio and other integration tools / technologies (EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, SOAP, WSDL, REST, XML, XSLT, and Studio).
  • Experience with Workday security framework including role- and user-based security groups, constrained / unconstrained security, integration security, and domain security policies.
  • Experience in Agile / SAFe delivery model and tools (e.g., Jira Align).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to design custom solutions when out-of-the-box options are not available.
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work in cross-functional global teams.
  • Strong communication skills to interface with business users, functional teams, and technical peers.
  • Proactive in adopting Workday best practices and industry trends.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Workday Certification in Integrations, Studio, HCM or one of the relevant Workday core competencies.
  • Workday Extend / SSK / Orchestration Experience.
  • Experience with Workday Benefits, HR, and T&M.
  • Experience with Workday Payroll implementing / managing Payroll Input Processor integrations and implementing / changing Payroll frequencies.
  • Familiar with Workday integrations with AWS
  • Unionized Payroll experience
  • Knowledge of SOX and SOD and audit controls
  • JSON and Postman integration tools
