Manager, Billing

The Billing Manager is responsible for leading supervisors and teams to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of billing operations. Oversees end-to-end process health, validates controls, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and minimize customer impact. Collaborates cross-functionally to support the development of technical and procedural enhancements that align with organizational goals.

Job Duties :

• Manages supervisors and teams in the Billing group.
• Responsible for the overall billing and / or payment process health.
• Validates process controls.
• Develops, recommends and ensures implementation of process improvements, new initiatives and projects for end-to-end billing and / or payment.
• Ensures billing and / or payment processes minimize customer impact.
• Ensures teams monitor, track and trend control reports.
• Identifies abnormalities and either resolves or refers to more senior management for consideration and resolution.
• Coordinates audits to ensure compliance with billing and / or payment protocol, company policies and applicable regulations.
• Recommends steps for ongoing process improvement.
• May represent Billing on cross functional working groups in the design and development of technical and related procedural improvements
• Any other task asked by the management team.
