Position Summary / Objective :

The Video Editor will report to the Videographer and will assist with editing raw video footage into high-quality, engaging videos and advertisements that inform, engage and inspire audience behavior and decision-making. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure video assets align with creative briefs to achieve marketing objectives. This role requires organization, attention to detail, creativity, superior time management skills and a passion for visual storytelling. Portfolio submission required.

Essential Job Functions :

Proficiency in working with audio and video files, music and sound designEdit videos to targeted length, format and file size specificationsHandle and organize raw and edited video files with clear naming conventionsExport videos and facilitate mobile and web distributionAssist videographer on video shoots and produce content as necessaryInterpret creative briefs and edit according to the desired objective and specificationsCollaborate closely with team members, and communicate feedback and questions clearly and concisely

Required Minimum Qualifications / Job Knowledge :

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience 1-2 years of Video Editing ExperienceKnowledge of video formats, codecs and containersUnderstanding of video editing and production principles, ex. color grading and compositionExperience editing podcast episodes (Preferred)Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (Required)Proficient in After Effects (Preferred)Product Advertising Experience (Preferred)Videography Experience (Preferred) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain agileGood communication skills and ability to collaborateStrong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly
