Toolroom Machinist / Machinist-Engineer
Location : Bryant, IN | Shift : 2nd or 3rd | Pay : Up to $33 / hr | Type : Full-Time, Direct-Hire
Aegis is partnered with a major manufacturing company located in the Bryant, IN area that is seeking a Toolroom Machinist (Machinist-Engineer) to join their Machine Shop team. In this role, you will manufacture blueprint items, help reduce costs, and ensure production runs efficiently. This is a hands-on, technical position with opportunities to contribute to equipment maintenance, new equipment start-ups, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret blueprints to manufacture precision parts
- Maintain and improve machine shop equipment, including CNC and EDM machines
- Assist in new equipment start-ups and CNC upkeep
- Program EDM machines and support die tech / parts cage departments in cost reduction efforts
- Troubleshoot equipment using electrical circuits and PLCs
- Collaborate on projects as assigned to improve efficiency and quality
