Summary
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a solid understanding of structural design processes. This individual will support engineers by performing a variety of technical and administrative tasks, including preparing documentation, reviewing shop drawings, and maintaining project organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in project meetings and calls to understand customer requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers to complete projects and produce detailed drawings.
- Review construction documents and shop drawings for accuracy.
- Assist in the design and development of engineering projects.
- Gather and organize data for structural analysis, load calculations, and design reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in a technical support or design role.Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla, or similar modeling software.Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.Familiarity with building construction and modern manufacturing techniques.Exceptional attention to detail and proactive work style.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently when needed.Able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.Education and Experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
