Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse to work in Endoscopy.

The role requires an active Registered Nurse license.

Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty.

Certifications in BLS are required, while ACLS, PALS, and SGNA certifications are preferred.

The assignment is for a duration of 13 weeks.

The schedule includes 4 ten-hour shifts per week.

The position involves being on-call every fifth weekend.

The facility is a Magnet facility with Level II trauma designation.

Daily census in the unit is approximately 15 patients.

The nurse will handle various patient diagnoses, including GI bleeds and foreign bodies.

Candidates should have skills in airway management, monitoring conscious sedation, and specimen handling.

This position will not require floating to other departments.

The provider should be open to accommodating block schedules.

Candidates must be willing to work during holidays when needed.

Strong preference is given to candidates with experience in specified endoscopy procedures.

References are required covering employment within the last three years.

Housing options should be researched prior to the assignment.
