Position Overview :

  • Job Title : Locum Tenens - Radiologist (Mammography)
  • Location : Near Brooksville, FL
  • Shift Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • Practice Setting : On-site hospital work (no telemedicine)
  • Specialty : Mammography and General Diagnostic Radiology
  • Start Date : Open until filled
  • Call Requirements : None
  • Weekend Requirements : None

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform general mammography and diagnostic imaging services
  • Conduct stereotactic breast biopsies
  • Supervise fluoroscopy procedures
  • Interpret a variety of general diagnostic imaging studies
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Utilize EMR systems (EPIC / Radiant) and PACS (Merge) for reporting and image management
  • Dictation software (Fluency) provided for ease of reporting

    • Job Requirements :

  • Board-certified in Radiology with a subspecialty in Mammography REQUIRED
  • Active Florida medical license REQUIRED
  • DEA certification REQUIRED
  • Expertise in general mammography, biopsies, and diagnostic imaging
  • Experience using EPIC and PACS systems preferred
