Job Description :
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS + Networking), you will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud environments. This role demands deep expertise in cloud networking, infrastructure as code, and DevOps automation, with strong hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will collaborate with engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to enable cloud adoption, ensure compliance, and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities :
Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and security across global environments.
Set up and automate cloud networking in AWS, including Security Groups, Network ACLs, and subnet management (CIDR / IP address management).
Automate infrastructure provisioning and integrate with service catalogs (e.g., ServiceNow, Backstage) to enable self-service application deployments.
Define and enforce network configuration best practices, including Security Groups vs. NACL usage.
Collaborate with platform and application engineering teams to capture requirements and deliver optimized cloud environments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates to achieve consistent, repeatable deployments.
Establish monitoring, logging, and cost optimization frameworks to improve cloud observability and efficiency.
Skills & Experience
12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, and DevOps.
Proven expertise in AWS cloud networking : VPCs, subnets, Security Groups, NACLs, routing, and peering.
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).
Hands-on experience integrating infrastructure automation with Service Catalogs (ServiceNow, Backstage).
Deep knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automation frameworks for infrastructure delivery.
Strong understanding of cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills; proven ability to mentor junior engineers.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
