Licensed Practical Nurse

Pay From :   $ 29 per hour

MUST :

Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse

2 years of primary care experience

State of VA Licensed Practical Nurse license required

Must have experience in a primary care setting

Must have experience in a high volume medical office

Strong understanding of patient care procedures and clinical workflows

Must be able to communicate effectively and be a team player

BLS / CPR certification required

DUTIES :

• Support physicians by delivering clinical care, administering medications, and assisting with minor procedures
• Triage patients, assess symptoms, and collect medical history, vital signs, and lab specimens
• Perform phlebotomy, IV placement, nebulizer treatments, wound care, and other in-office procedures
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication use, and post-visit care
• Coordinate referrals, manage prescription refill requests, and obtain insurance authorizations
• Maintain exam room readiness, equipment, supply inventory, and accurate EMR documentation
