CNC Lathe & Milling Machine Operator / Machinist #COH

Location :  Mentor, OH

Shift : 1st Shift

Pay : $21-$26 an hour

Our client is seeking skilled CNC Lathe and Milling Machine Operators and / or Set up operator  to join their growing team. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with CNC equipment, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities :

Setup & Operation :

Set up and run CNC lathes and milling centers according to job specifications.

Programming & Editing :

(For Programmers) Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using software or manual code input directly at the machine.

Monitoring & Adjustments :

Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments to speeds, feeds, and tooling to ensure consistent output and quality.

Quality Control :

Inspect parts during and after production to ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances and specifications.

Maintenance :

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tool changes, cleaning, and basic machine upkeep.

Qualifications & Skills :

Experience with CNC Machinery :

Knowledge of lathe and milling center setup, tooling, operation, and programming.

Problem-Solving Skills :

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process.

Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation :

Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints.

Attention to Detail :

Strong focus on accuracy and quality to ensure precision in every part produced.

Safety-Focused :

Adheres to all safety guidelines and practices in a manufacturing environment.
