Shift : 5x8 Days

Pay : $2,608 / week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Boone, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This travel assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced cardiac environment alongside a dedicated team of physicians and technologists.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.

Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Administer and monitor moderate sedation per protocol and physician orders.

Accurately document patient care and procedure details in Epic EMR .

Monitor hemodynamic and cardiac rhythm changes, responding promptly to emergent situations.

Maintain and operate specialized Cath Lab equipment safely and effectively.

Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Uphold infection prevention, radiation safety, and patient care standards in all procedural areas.

Qualifications

Current RN license : North Carolina or Compact Multistate License

Experience : Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab circulating RN experience in an acute care setting

Required Certifications :

BLS (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

Skills Required : Moderate Sedation

Cardiac rhythm interpretation

EPIC EMR proficiency (recent experience required)

Scrub Colors : All navy or all white

Local Rule : Candidates must live 40+ miles from the facility (driver’s license required for verification)
