Responsibilities Work in a 16-bed free-standing emergency department with no trauma designation Provides ultrasound services for emergency department and limited outpatient cases Average of 8 ultrasound studies per day and 87 emergency department visits daily Weekday shifts are 8 hours from 10 : 30 p.m. to 7 : 00 a.m.; weekend rotation as needed; weekend shifts may be 12 hours No call or floating required Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, Philips iSite PACS, and Siemens Sequoia ultrasound equipment are used Primarily provides diagnostic ultrasound imaging for emergency department and outpatient populations Role requires performing vascular studies in addition to general ultrasound exams Administrative onboarding is 1 day, with 2 days to 1 week of departmental training as needed Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays Black scrubs required Surface lot parking is available at no cost Time off requests require approval by the Resource Team Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent ultrasound technologist experience Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Sonography (ARRT-S) required Current BLS certification General ultrasound imaging skills and vascular ultrasound experience required Experience with Epic EMR preferred First-time travelers are welcome License required if applicable Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639214.
