Marketing And Communications Function Leader
This is a rare opportunity to build an entire marketing and communications function from the ground up. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you'll work closely with Sales and Engineering teams to establish the strategic foundation for brand growth, demand generation, and market positioning. You'll have full autonomy to decide the best structurebuilding an internal team, leveraging agencies, or creating a hybrid model. A key part of this role will be transforming internal expertise into powerful, market-facing storytelling that drives engagement and credibility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategy & Demand Generation
- Develop & Execute : Design and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy tailored for a technical audience with complex, long sales cycles.
- Build the Engine : Establish a scalable demand generation function that delivers predictable, qualified pipeline growth.
- Align & Measure : Define and manage all marketing KPIs, including MQL-to-SQL conversion, pipeline velocity, and customer acquisition cost, while optimizing the marketing budget for maximum ROI.
- Market Intelligence : Serve as the expert on buyers, competitors, and industry trendstranslating insights into actionable strategy and positioning.
- Product & Content Marketing
- Simplify Complexity : Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate technical features into clear, compelling business value.
- Fuel Thought Leadership : Oversee the creation of high-impact contentwhite papers, webinars, case studies, and technical articlesthat reinforce the organization's reputation as an industry leader.

Required Qualifications :
15+ years of B2B marketing experience with proven success leading marketing functions in technical or industrial sectors (e.g., enterprise software, engineering services, or industrial technology).Able to develop strategy while remaining hands-on in execution.Expertise in long, consultative sales cycles and high-value deal environments.Ability to translate complex technical or engineering concepts into business-driven narratives.Experience building and managing full-funnel demand generation systems.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a talent for uniting cross-functional teams around shared objectives.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience marketing within industrial, chemical, or energy-related sectors.Background managing hybrid marketing structures (internal teams and external agencies).Familiarity with employee advocacy and internal communications programs.
