We have an upcoming project in San Francisco and are looking to expand our stellar team. This study will involve doing quick intercept surveys with people in specific areas of San Francisco. We are not selling anything but asking people for 2 minutes for their opinions on certain traffic improvements in the city. There is always a paid training prior to any new study.

You must live in San Francisco to be considered for this position. The upcoming project will last for about 1-2 months.

The Field Interviewer at E&W Research is a part-time, on-call, non-exempt, project-based position, designed for a flexible individual with experience in social science data collection and an adaptable and proactive work attitude. The rate of pay is $24- $26 / hr based on experience. The hours are very flexible and you will always work with a partner.

Responsibilities and expectations emphasize reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or with a small team while learning data collection and research practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with data collection for Field Projects
• Travel to assigned locations
• Work individually or part of a small team depending on study
• Conduct brief intercept surveys with respondents as needed
• Conduct observations in a location and complete survey on paper or a mobile device
• Record clear and succinct responses
• Submit reports and notes as requested
• Attend project trainings and team meetings
• Communicate daily with management team
• Respond to inquiries and requests promptly

Terms of employment : Part-time, on-call, non-exempt position. Estimated 3-20 hours per week when there is project work.

Pay Rate : $24-26 / hr, biweekly direct deposit paycheck
