Intern Position at ACCO

As an Intern with ACCO, you will be responsible for clerical and related administrative duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and program support, including data entry, scheduling, coordinating, and attending meetings, preparing written correspondence/reports, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Participate in training and assignments such as business communication, presentation, and professional skills development.
• Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from authorized users.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Strong aptitude for learning new systems and programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication/relationship skills
• Proficiency with MS Windows, including MS Word and MS Excel
• Demonstrated customer service excellence, including professional, courteous phone skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Preferred, but not required:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

• The employee may regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

• Occasionally required to reach above shoulder height to access storage cabinets and mail cubicles.
• Regular and Routine attendance:

Hours:

Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime as required.

Competitive Wages:

$19.00 to $25.00 per hour. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
