Job description

About the Role :

  • As an Industrial Engineer, your main focus will be to enhance cost efficiency in our distribution operations by developing and implementing advanced methods, systems, and processes.
  • You will provide essential industrial and process engineering support to our Logistics Centers and Configuration & Integration Operations.
  • Your responsibilities will include managing engineering support related to budgets, layout design, space planning, material handling equipment specification, and creating comprehensive process documentation.
  • Your role will also encompass safety and ergonomic engineering support across all operations, as well as conducting process evaluations and initiating improvements.

What You'll Do :

  • Analyze logistics operations to identify and enhance performance through method studies, time standards, and innovative process optimization techniques.
  • Lead initiatives employing Lean methodology, ergonomic enhancements, safety engineering, capacity planning, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost productivity, develop cost-effective solutions, and assist in SAP testing and documentation management.

    • Required Experience and Education :

  • Previous Work Experience : At least two (2) years in a logistics / supply chain engineering role, with a strong preference for candidates with five (5) years of labor standards experience.
  • Education / Certifications Required : A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Other education / certifications : Basic knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications is highly desirable.
