Registered Nurse - Endoscopy GI Surgery

Summary :

As a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy GI Surgery unit, you will work autonomously in a dynamic clinical environment, providing both routine and specialized care to patients. Your expertise will help you navigate complex clinical situations, manage patient care effectively, and develop long-term care plans.

Responsibilities :

• Embrace and demonstrate the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice by delivering nursing care through the complete nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your assigned patients.
• Address the intricate psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment efficacy.
• Meticulously document patient histories, symptoms, administered medications, and care rendered.
• Evaluate patient education needs and provide guidance to patients, families, and caregivers, while identifying relevant issues and resources.
