The Senior Registered Dietitian plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutrition services to our patients. You will be responsible for the coordination, planning, implementation, and documentation of individualized meal plans and nutritional services, adhering to all State and Federal regulations. Collaborating with a talented multidisciplinary treatment team, you will conduct nutrition assessments, contribute to Master Treatment Plans, and provide ongoing monitoring of patients’ nutritional status. This position also encompasses training and administrative responsibilities, including overseeing dietitian coverage and conducting virtual training sessions with the Nutrition leadership team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough nutrition assessments for patients and monitor their progress weekly.
• Develop personalized nutritional plans based on each patient's unique needs.
• Apply nutritional expertise to help patients achieve improved health outcomes.
• Facilitate group nutritional therapy sessions as scheduled.
• Supervise and support junior Registered Dietitians within the facility.
• Ensure excellent communication and coordination with the culinary team for optimal meal planning.
• Assist in designing patient meal menus to meet nutritional standards.
• Train new dietitians and collaborate on inter-program training efforts.
• Perform quarterly audits of clinical documentation to uphold compliance.
• Gather and present nutrition-related information during staff meetings and educational training sessions.
• Engage in organization-wide marketing efforts by sharing information about our programs at events.
• Stay informed of advancements in the field and integrate new knowledge into practice.
• Promote a respectful and professional atmosphere while maintaining patient confidentiality.
