Texas Licensed Associate Medical Director

A company is looking for an Assoc. Medical Director - Family Medicine (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Oversee medical coordination for effective utilization and quality management of the health plan network

Provide clinical oversight for utilization management, disease management, and quality management activities

Develop processes to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Must have completed an ACGME or AMA approved residency in a relevant specialty

Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related discipline preferred

At least five years of clinical practice experience in a relevant specialty

Must be currently licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Texas

Board certification in the relevant specialty preferred
