Location : DeMay Living Center

Hours Per Week : 37.5 hrs / week

Schedule : Nights, 11pm - 7 : 30am, Monday - Friday, every other weekend and holiday

Sign-On Bonus : up to $4500

SUMMARY :

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, individualized patient care in collaboration with the nursing team. Your proactive approach and dedication to assisting with patient needs will significantly contribute to our team's success.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Patient Care & Service : Assist residents with essential daily activities as outlined in individualized care plans. Provide transportation to and from activities, facilitate leisure activities, perform evaluations and reporting, and offer emotional support to residents and their families.

Safety : Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents, contributing to their overall well-being.

Communication & Documentation : Maintain timely communication with families, directing them to the appropriate professional staff. Respond promptly to resident requests and share crucial information with team members during report sessions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Completion of a New York State approved certified nursing assistant program.

CNA registration in NYS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Associate's Degree preferred.

Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

M - Medium Work - Requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, with greater than negligible force up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects; involves frequent walking, standing, and squatting.
