Responsibilities
The Physician Liaison develops and executes business plans in a designated territory, focusing on targeted physician referral growth. This field-based role establishes and maintains ongoing communication with physician offices, specialty clinics, hospitals, and other partners, keeping collaborators updated throughout the patient lifecycle.
Develop and expand referral base to grow UVC Vein business.Continuously review, analyze, evaluate, and report on product performance and development opportunities.Educate new and existing physician contacts on UVC services.Maintain a positive image of UVC in the target community as a vein disease treatment expert.Oversee competitive positioning of UVC to protect and grow market share.Identify physician referral opportunities through research and prospecting.Communicate with referring providers via calls, emails, and meetings.Provide branded messages on UVC products and services.Coordinate speaking opportunities at hospitals, ALFs, and medical associations.Promote provider engagement through orientation, office visits, social events, and CEUs.Demonstrate and uphold UVVC's core values and standards of conduct.Ensure confidentiality of PHI in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
2–5 years of medical sales experience with 1–2 years of outside B2B experience.Existing relationships with physicians, ACOs, and healthcare facilities.Understanding of vascular diseases and ability to communicate clinical information.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Compliance with HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Stark Laws.Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.Strong time-management, organizational, and negotiation skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.Independent, self-motivated worker who can maintain professional conduct in all situations.Proof of minimum personal auto insurance coverage (basic details as required).Up to 100% travel required.About UVVC
