• In the Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health, the cardiologists and patients are supported by a compassionate, educated and experienced staff of nurses, technologists and nuclear medicine technologists with a total of more than 150 years of experience in the field of cardiology. The goal of the Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health is to perform a diagnostic cardiac catheterization on every patient as precisely, thoroughly and efficiently as possible.\n\nThe end result is a diagnosis that will lead to the best treatment possible while prolonging and improving the quality of life for each patient.\n\nAbout The Career : \n
• Provides cardiopulmonary assessments on patients at rest and during exercise, provides and monitors exercise component.\n\nAll About You : \n
• Education : \n\nRegistered Nurse licensed in the State of Colorado.\n
• BCLS / ACLS certified.\n
• At least 2 years experience, preferably in CCU / ER / ICU.\n
• Arrhythmia recognition and intervention knowledge skills.\n
• Knowledge of exercise response in heart and lung patients and those with comorbid conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, etc.\n
• Knowledge of conditions of the heart and lung and circulation requiring cardiac / pulmonary and vascular rehabilitation..\n\nWhat We Offer : \n
