The first foray into the path towards becoming a Financial Consultant (FC) at Schwab, the IC role provides the exposure and experience required to advance in this challenging space. You’ll learn what it takes to build a book of business through proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients, uncovering opportunities through needs-based analysis and positioning appropriate products and solutions. If you are seeking the first step towards a rich and rewarding career in financial consulting, look no further than Schwab’s Investment Consultant role.What you haveRequired Qualifications : A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)  A valid and active Series 66 (63 / 65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)  A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment)   Preferred Qualifications : 2 years of experience in the financial services industryAbility to leverage Business development experiencePassion for gaining knowledge of brokerage / banking products and servicesOpenness to build strong client relationships In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
