Project Executive - Commercial Construction

Landmark Builders is seeking a full-time, experienced commercial construction Senior Project Manager  in the Myrtle Beach , SC area with specific expertise in coastal hotel, resort, condominium, or multi-family construction.  About our Amazing Company Landmark Builders offers general construction, design / build, construction management, and upfit / renovation services throughout South Carolina.

Our primary markets include industrial, distribution, office, retail, education, healthcare, resort / hospitality, and senior living construction.

Job Summary Working as an integral part of the Landmark Builders operations group, this Senior Project Manager will lead project management teams in the execution of large-scale commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities Create, implement, and lead project execution plans for complex, fast-tracked, and multi-phased projects, adjusting as necessary to address changing needs and requirements.

Delegate important project tasks and processes, such as plan revisions, submittals, RFI’s, pay applications, and change orders, and hold team members accountable .

Train and develop team members at other levels in the organization.

Develop and manage project budgets, updating job cost / profit forecasts monthly.

Generate, maintain, and execute detailed project schedules.

Coordinate with construction partners to buy out project scopes and prepare all purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.

Secure and obtain required permits, approvals, and public utilities.

Lead meetings with operations staff, owners, designers, and subcontractors.

Assist Project Superintendents in maintaining quality control and safety standards.

Ensure timely material acquisition and deliveries.

Maintain ongoing communication with customers and manage client expectations.

Maintain open lines of communication with field staff, senior management, owners, architects, subcontractors, etc., keeping the entire team informed of project issues and changes.

Ensure that Landmark is a fair construction partner at all times.

Qualifications BA / BS Degree 10+ years of experience in Project Management Proven ability to lead project management teams and large-scale projects.

Significant experience managing coastal hotel, resort, condominium, or multi-family construction.
