Principal Security Systems Engineer

U.S.-Based | Pacific Time Zone | Remote (with travel as needed)

We're hiring a Principal Security Systems Engineer to lead the design and deployment of physical security systems for some of the most advanced data centers in the world.

You'll architect and oversee a multi-layered, zero-trust physical security framework — from perimeter defense to rack-level protection — across a growing global portfolio of GPU-driven, AI-ready facilities. What You'll Do

• Own the full lifecycle of physical security design across hyperscale data centers.
• Define strategy and author master standards, specs, and drawings for security infrastructure.
• Design and implement systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and biometrics
• Lead zoning layouts, mantrap flows, visitor access, and badging protocols.
• Align security systems with DoD SOC 2 , and ISO 27001 standards.
• Develop and manage project-specific documentation and local adaptations with external consultants.
• Specify retention and encryption policies for logs, alarms, and video data.
• Integrate physical security into DCIM and corporate SIEM platforms.
• Ensure high resiliency with dual-path communications, UPS backups, and penetration testing programs
