Job Summary

Walker Tape Co. is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Creative Manager to lead and inspire our growing creative team. This role drives our brands visual and storytelling impact across product, digital, and social channels, overseeing a Graphic Designer and a Creative Strategist to ensure all output aligns with brand standards, supports marketing goals, and delivers measurable results. Youll collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and cross-functional teams on everything from product labels and catalogs to social commerce and digital campaigns.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and support the development of a Graphic Designer and Creative Strategist.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, clarity, and high performance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to align team efforts with broader company goals.

    • Brand & Asset Management

  • Lead label design and revisions across all product lines, ensuring compliance with regulatory and brand guidelines.
  • Oversee layout, design, and production of product catalogsdigital and / or print.
  • Maintain consistency across all brand visuals and messaging across platforms.

    • Digital & Social Commerce

  • Partner with the creative strategist to produce visual content for Instagram Shop and TikTok Shop with a focus on driving engagement and conversions.
  • Guide creative efforts for social-first campaigns, including video storytelling, influencer assets, and platform-optimized content.

    • Website & UX Collaboration

  • Contribute to the look, feel, and flow of the brand website in collaboration with the marketing and web teams.
  • Oversee design updates, landing pages, and promotional banners to support campaigns and user experience.

    • Skills / Abilities

    Required

  • 4+ years of creative or marketing experience, including 1-2 years of team management.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing work in graphic design, packaging, catalog or print media, and digital channels.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Experience with e-commerce and social commerce platforms (Instagram Shop, TikTok Shop).
  • Website design understanding (experience with Shopify, and SuiteCommerce is a plus)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

    • Preferred

  • Experience in beauty, haircare, or health-related consumer products.
  • Familiarity with social selling strategies and trends in short-form video marketing.
  • Experience in cross-functional marketing teams or growing small internal creative teams.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
