Performance Software is a midsize company with a great work-life balance, providing innovative software and hardware to our client companies. We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team.

Location : Cedar Rapids

Pay : $85,000-$120,000 DOE

Experience Required :

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or haveprotected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

FMS (Flight Management System) experience is preferred

ARP-4754.

Work on embedded systems for aerospace applications, including design, development, testing, and validation / verification.

Apply DO-178B guidelines to ensure compliance with safety-critical software standards.

Use DOORS for requirements management and traceability.

Support flight control systems development.

Perform system testing and validation to ensure the integrity and reliability of embedded software.

Hands-on experience working with DO-178B and DOORS.

Strong knowledge of embedded systems, test, validation, and verification processes.
