Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health RN with a NM or compact license and BCLS certification for a day shift assignment serving a diverse community.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Home health setting serving patients within a 35-mile radius
  • Patient caseload is approximately 1 : 5
  • Day shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, five days per week
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • No floating required
  • Uses Cerner for electronic charting
  • Primary responsibility is providing nursing care in patient homes within the defined territory
  • Orientation includes a 4-hour de-escalation (MOAB) course for those without prior certification—contract is contingent on passing
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Mileage is reimbursed at the federal IRS standard rate
  • Scrub color is black
  • No cost for parking
  • Personal transportation is required
  • COVID and compliance documentation must be completed promptly after signing
  • Holiday time-off requests are limited to one block and are subject to approval

  • Active NM or compact RN license (pending accepted at time of consideration)
  • 6 months to 1 year of prior Home Health experience required
  • Current BCLS certification required
  • MOAB certification required; will be provided during orientation if not already held
  • COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions accepted with proper documentation
  • No locals within a 75-mile radius of the facility
  • Must provide a valid driver’s license or a written transportation plan
  • Second set of fingerprints required upon arrival for CYFD
