Job descriptionAssess patients' speech and language abilities to develop accurate diagnoses Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' needs Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and primary care providers Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CT) Previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for speech and language disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients and families Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
