Security Operations Manager (Night Shift)
Securitas is seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee nightly security operations across three client buildings with approximately 30 officers. This leader will ensure the highest level of safety, service delivery, and professionalism while driving team engagement and performance.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, driven, and effective at report writing and communication. They take initiative, demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring abilities, and foster a respectful, professional team culture.
Key responsibilities include :
- Manage night shift guarding operations across multiple client sites, supervising officers and field supervisors to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct post inspections, verify adherence to post orders, and document findings in detailed, accurate reports.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to officers; promote engagement and career development.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction through communication, responsiveness, and proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and shift coverage to ensure operational effectiveness and cost control.
- Review and approve payroll records, incident reports, and other operational documentation.
- Participate in onboarding and ongoing training for security personnel.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, providing guidance and leadership to ensure appropriate resolution.
- Support line management in resolving operational or employee issues as needed.
Qualifications include :
Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience may substitute (1 year of experience = 1 year of education).Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role in security, law enforcement, or a related field.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proven ability to write clear, professional reports and handle documentation accurately.Ability to coach, mentor, and engage with officers respectfully and effectively.Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.Must be 18 years or older, with a high school diploma or GED.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.Reliable transportation and communication required.Proficient in basic computer skills (email, reporting software, scheduling systems).Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.What We Offer :
