Unit & Clinical Expectations :

You’ll care for a wide range of diagnoses including ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, cardiogenic shock, GI bleeds, COPD exacerbations, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD patients on CRRT. Block scheduling isn’t guaranteed. Travel pairs aren’t accepted, even if assigned to different units.

Ratios / Census :

Typical ratios are 1 : 2–3, and travelers should be prepared to take a third patient when needed. The unit has 24 rooms with an average daily census of about 19.

Unit Systems : Pyxis, Epic, SBAR

Scrub Color : Navy blue

Weekends : Every other weekend

Floating : Yes, within the facility
