We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team and provide essential support in real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate, with expertise in title, survey, and zoning reviews, as well as preparing closing documents. This fully remote position is ideal for a self-starter who can work independently with minimal training.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough reviews of title, survey, and zoning reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and finalize closing documents using pre-established templates and forms.
- Provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all stages of real estate transactions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address any issues or discrepancies identified in property documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required legal documentation for real estate deals.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, and other parties involved to facilitate seamless transaction processes.
- Maintain meticulous records and manage documentation related to real estate cases.
- Stay updated on regulations and best practices in commercial real estate law.
- Assist in resolving complex legal issues related to property transactions.
- Utilize case management software to organize and track case progress efficiently.
- At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with 10 years preferred, specializing in real estate law.
- Proven ability to independently review and analyze title, survey, and zoning reports.
- Proficiency in preparing closing documents for commercial real estate transactions.
- Strong familiarity with commercial real estate processes, as opposed to residential.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing legal documentation.
- Experience using case management software to streamline workflows.
- Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to liaise effectively with attorneys and clients.
