Retail Barista & Customer Experience Assistant

Position Summary : Steven Singer Jewelers, a renowned jewelry retailer with a national market reach, is seeking an experienced Barista & Showroom Concierge to elevate guest experience in our high-end jewelry showroom. In this unique, front-of-house role, you'll combine skilled coffee preparation with attentive customer service-greeting visitors, crafting quality beverages, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere. You'll handle orders and payments, keep the coffee bar stocked and clean, and engage with guests to understand their needs and direct them to the right sales associate. Ideally, you bring previous barista or hospitality experience, polished communication, and a passion for welcoming luxury-minded clientele. Your efforts will ensure that every visit feels personal, professional, and an exceptional environment.

Responsibilities :

• Greeting guests courteously and take beverage orders, offering recommendations tailored to taste and preferences
• Prepare and serve hot and cold specialty beverages - espresso, cappuccino, teas - following quality and presentation standards
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers), ensuring cleanliness and proper function
• Handle POS transactions accurately- cash, credit, and mobile- following cash management procedures
• Restock beverages and supply inventories, monitor freshness, and assist with stock management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary beverage station and showroom area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Engage with customers professionally, respond to inquiries, and proactively address and service concerns
• Collaborate with showroom staff to support overall guest experience and showroom operations
