Maintenance Job

Westminster Suncoast, a beautiful active living retirement community located in St. Petersburg is currently seeking a full time team member to join our Maintenance department. Starting rate $19.20 / hr! This position will assist in the day to day maintenance of community property. General maintenance experience required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster.

• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs under the supervision of the Maintenance Engineer.
• Perform basic functions that are mechanical inclined with hand tools and operate power tools.
• Change light bulbs, A / C filters, filters, and ceiling tiles.
• Hook-up sinks and toilets / urinals.
• Take temperature readings and boiler room readings. Test generator and other equipment & pumps.
• Repair minor leaks less than 1" in diameter.
• Assist as required Maintenance Mechanic / Engineer with major projects.

High School or better.

1-3 years : 1-3 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in carpentry.
