Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Skilled Nursing Facility - Monterey, CA

Start Date : ASAP

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Day | 38 guaranteed hours per week

Pay : Up to $2,523 per week all-inclusive (based on experience and active license)

About the Role

Join a dedicated and supportive rehab team in Monterey, CA. We are looking for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with at least one year of SNF experience and familiarity with Rehab Optima (Net Health) . You will play a key role in helping patients regain communication and swallowing abilities while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric patients

Create and implement individualized therapy plans that promote functional improvement and quality of life

Work closely with an interdisciplinary rehab team to ensure coordinated care

Accurately document daily progress using Rehab Optima (Net Health) or similar EMR

Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support progress after discharge

Requirements

Active California SLP license (required)

Minimum 1 year of SNF experience (Rehab Optima experience preferred)

Current BLS certification

Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Assignment Details

Location : Monterey, CA

Setting : Skilled Nursing Facility

Guaranteed Hours : 38 per week

Overtime : After 40 hours per week

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Holiday Coverage : Not required

Mileage and Bonuses : Not provided
