Provider Contract Specialist

A company is looking for a Specialist, Provider Contract.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial and renewal contract negotiations with various healthcare providers to secure pricing concessions

Ensure contract compliance by interacting with providers, government agencies, and internal departments, resolving issues related to contracts and reimbursement methodologies

Prepare and interpret data analysis to assess the impact of pricing decisions on negotiated payment rates

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

3 years of experience in healthcare and / or managed care contracting, with 2 years specifically in managed care contracting

Knowledge of current and proposed government regulations and state / federal laws related to provider contracting

Experience in providing direction, guidance, and training to staff

Ability to assist with project planning and development of work procedures
